Now that I think about it, I notice I ahvent actually thought about the logo. What's more, I haven't even erally looked at it in about 5 years - often, I'm sure I even miss the "special day" logos.
But that's partly why I use Google too, I guess. I know where everything is. I type, I hit enter, I click on results. Straight through. If I was noticing the logo, I wouldn't be searching. Same goes for things like the white background.
More things should try harder to not get in the way.
