Swift-boating the climate-scientists.

I would say it is rather premature to jump to the meta level and state that there was nothing found while the excerpts published in many places are really embarrassing. Such blank meta-level statements instead of going right into the available data and discussing each case sounds dishonest to me.

For example it seems that their whole computer model and data was buggy and with dubious corrections added: http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/11/24/taking_liberties/entry5761180.shtml

Now compare it with this paragraph:

But you could find anything in here. I looked and found lots of references to lunch and fun, 94 to hate, 31 to love. Generally, though, the e-mails are extremely focused, technical, and, dare I say it, really dull. As noted on Realclimate.org, the website that Mann helped found, the e-mails contain “no evidence of any worldwide conspiracy, no mention of George Soros nefariously funding climate research, no grand plan to ‘get rid of the MWP’, no admission that global warming is a hoax, no evidence of the falsifying of data, and no ‘marching orders’ from our socialist/communist/vegetarian overlords”.

Yeah - he is just quoting someone so that we cannot accuse him of lying. And yeah - it's all about lunch fun - go on nothing to see here.

This is pure rhetorics and I don't see there any will to check the facts, analyse the data - there is only will to fight.
